What is a Behavioral ICF/IID?

A Behavioral Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID) is a specialized residential program that provides 24-hour care, behavioral supports, and skill-building services for children and adolescents with intellectual or developmental disabilities. These facilities combine medical oversight, behavioral health services, and daily living training to help youth grow, thrive, and reach their fullest potential in a safe, supportive environment.
